An amateur radio operator wanted to put up a tower but informed that outside antennas were not allowed by HOA, but noticed that bird houses were allowed in back yards. (Guess who had the highest birdhouse on the block!)
Another noticed the same, but practically everyone had a cable TV line to the house.Hmmm – Had cable put in and a couple months later had it disconnected. (100 ft of coax makes a passable antenna!)
And then there was an operator that used reverse logic. He noticed that with cell phones becoming more popular, they would probably be wanting to put a cell-phone tower in his neighborhood – thus lowering the value of his house! So, he let it be known that he wanted to put up a 75’ tower and applied for a permit. An uproar and petitions followed and towers became banned in the area. Thus, he later sold his house at top value. (He never intended to invest in a tower to start with – and now the community – with growing cell phone demands are blocked from having a nearby tower because of their own petitions!)

Demo is easy. Rebuilding is tricky.

Tearing down is easy. The rebuild is the hard part – that’s when you hire the contractor !
