I had a rabbit who liked to hide like that and turn up in the oddest places with a “what took YOU so long to find me?” expression.

After this month we’ll be heading into Fall and Winter where the best holdiays are, Bea if you’re paying mind to holidays are you gonna feature Oktoberfest? I just wanna know because if you’re gonna draw anyone in lederhosen or dirndl I’ll need advance notice to prepare myself to die laughing and hit the favorites button! :)

When her foot gets high enough, Sir Pinkypaw III, bat your claws at it.

Perhaps Ellie should call Sam to help her. Of course, Sedine will have to come along…

My mom had a cat that would bring live a critter into the house and release it to let YOU catch it; much like a mom cat teaches her kittens how to hunt. The most notable critter was a baby rabbit; THAT was an adventure.

That must be one very big, rather adorable lint ball.

I’ll refrain from any percieved vulgar comments about how limber Ellie is here and just say that I’m digging her polka-dot socks.

Cats can be absolutely maddening. In the early days of walking my cats in the redwoods, I had terrific anxiety if I could not find them in five minutes. My cat Johnny Depp would “answer up” when called, IF he could not see me. If he could see me, he figured I could see him. He was an ultimate-camouflage tabby and in the dim forest light, he could disappear by remaining motionless. He would sit six feet from me as I called for him with increasing worry. Eventually he would take pity on me, flick an ear, and “magically” appear to my perception. Cats!
