Her definition of “Fun” being …?

Sam & Sedine are hanging on her every word now.

Reminds me a little of Jack Kirby’s character, “Granny Goodness” …

Who would have thought the story would carry on with this? Bet ya that granny would have shown no mercy to the pervert who tried to pick up Sedine, if she was looking for trouble that guy would BE trouble.

Of course if Sam hadn’t been seen I wonder if Sedine would have taken a ride from that guy? If just showing leg was disgraceful to the granny, a married woman taking a ride like that would have been a seppuku-class offense.

Okay, my turn to nitpick, but mostly to see what solutions people suggest …

“Granny” left Sam and Sedine in the dust, yet does not arrive at Flupis’ Garage till after Sam and Sedine have been towed, plus an additional two hours of waiting.

How is that?

Panel #1: The “Depth-Of-Field” is so deep that the mid-ground “Flupi’s” sign is in front of the word balloon.

Gotta love it.

Also, it looks like the VW is being backed out of the shop.

So, do we call this one the “Roadside Breakdown” arc, or the “Shake-a-Leg” arc …?

60 years ago would be 1957. I still remember a popular song sung by a women’s group, called “We wear short shorts.” Short shorts were a popular style, back then, so I know where she is coming from. But, not everyone had six kids because of it.

That woman has some serious regrets.

Like not using birth control for one…
