There have been occasions when I have been able to string people along like this for a long time. The longer it takes for them to get it, the funnier it is when they realize they’ve been had.
It’s more of a talent, Ray, than a skill that can be learned. The most important thing, which is something you can practice, is the ability to make totally outrageous statements with an absolutely straight face. That said, I just realized that I may have missed out on a lucrative career in either politics or PR.
