Melissa: Believe it or not, ma'am, I'm actually pumped to go back downrange. I've already made myself fit again. Woman: I can see that, Melissa. You are one tough, resilient woman, and I'm very proud of you. Melissa: Me, too! So what are we going to do with the rest of our session? Woman: What would you like to do? Melissa: Want to watch Oprah? Woman: If we keep the volume down.

Dypak, I’m enjoying the current ‘Funky’, too. I wonder how the two husbands dilemma will be solved? I’m a bit concerned about a possible suicide. I hope I’m dead wrong.

She’s good to go!…. Yes Marg, she is, but I am afraid it’s not going to be good. I sorta feel a “false optimism” here.

If you were not getting enough time with your Social Worker, you need to speak up. They bill for 50 minute sessions, so that is what you should demand. They are there because of you, not the other way around.

I thought the lady with the white hair was Melissa’s therapist? If not, who is she?
BlueRaven over 15 years ago
Rina, that is her therapist. And I do hope Melissa has a far better experience the second time around. The military is still grossly unsafe for women and isn’t likely to change any time soon.

Careful, Melissa, a GI’s fighting peak is only ninety days. Your chances of survivial diminish rapidly after that.

Margueritem: It’s “Funky Winkerbean”. It’s Tom Batiuk. Don’t get your hopes up for a happy ending, y’know ; )
