I think I’ve seen very nearly the same empty apology from the second panel in an earlier strip.
Nevertheless, it is funny. This is one of the strips I always look forward to.
I’m totally on Scott’s character’s side most of the time. The only things I can’t figure out is why he keeps on working for that same incompetent boss with the abrasive client list, and why he decided to be friends with so many idiotic and egotistical alpha wannabees.
Easy, Rog – lack of better options. We’re in a recession, after all.
Besides, where else would he get such great material for his strip? It’s the same reason Scott Adams stayed at his job for a while even after “Dilbert” took off.
