@Susan: just like the ones I plant here in acid rocky &/or clay soil full of voles and such… if I plant 100 bulbs I’m lucky to get 6 blooms…..

And that’s the joke, she’s best known for her often shockingly sexual looking flowers, so the lit has to keep up! Ha! I love this strip especially when Zonk’s talking to flowers - too cool that they ‘speak’ to him, too.
