    Good morning Vagabonds.

Looks like we may have day with some scattered showers. Temp about the low 70’s.

Today we went out and leased a new car. We have been looking for awhile for one to replace our 2005 Grand Caravan with 183,000 miles on it. We were looking for a small SUV type as we didn’t need a big mini van now. We want’d one as the seat is higher off the ground than most sedans. That makes it easier for Barbara to get in and out with the arthritis in her back. We looked at both new and used ones but what they wanted for a price with the mileage on a used one, it made more sense to lease a new one. We ended up getting a Jeep Compass. We hadn’t considered one but we got a good deal on it, so we took it. I will be picking it up today.

That’s my big story for today and probably for a long time.

    Peace to all of you.

    Good morning Vagabonds

Cloudy day at hand with possible showers through out, or was that “Cloudy with a chance of meatballs” :-)

A Jeep, sounds great, but, this is coming from a Jeep owner. Not much chance for off roading I imagine.

I plan on a quiet day how about you. Later.

    Good morning, Vagabonds.

Arthur, sounds like you got a pretty good deal. We have both purchased and leased cars, and for us the lease wasn’t such a good deal. Too much mileage as Michael was commuting around 180 miles per day. It ended up costing us a great deal at the end of the lease. It was a great car, though, a little Toyota MR2 convertible sports car.

Today’s forecast is again 93, then it starts to go up again tomorrow with highs in the 100’s for the following week. The nighttime lows are starting to climb, too. 80’s for most of the week.

We are still trying to get the new Dish receiver to work. We took it to the house and hooked it up to the old antenna and worked with Dish Network to download the software and tweak it until it was performing normally. Then we brought it back here and of course it won’t work. So I get to be on the phone with the antenna company this morning to figure out what the problem is. It’s been about a day an a half of frustration so far.

    Everyone have a blessed day.

    Good morning, Vagabonds,

Well, tomorrow is our big day. I have a 9:30 doctor’s appointment, and then we leave on our big trip from there. So, if you don’t hear from me, that’s why.

Congrats on your new Jeep, Arthur. Have you got a name for it yet?

I’ll check in as I can. xoxoxo Happy Trails.
