This actually has the potential to turn into an interesting story. Van Awkward gets wind of the Central City girls plan and asks Double D to the prom. This, of course, P.O.’s The Obnoxious Shot Putter and amuses Double D who appears to only have eyes for Carrie, who herself, only has eyes for Hurdler Gary (Beavis) Meola. Hilarity ensues!
Is that a peace sign or a marijuana leaf on what’s her names coffee cup in P1? Being a journalism teacher, it would fit either way, as she was probably a hippie chick back in the day.
Later, Double D asks Ryan and he asks her if he could pitch batting practice for her and her alone. NIAGRA FALLS!
I’ve often wondered whether Milford is a public or private school. They seem to travel all over the country to play at different schools, something most public schools can’t afford to do. I know around the D.C. area the public and private schools rarely play unless it’s a holiday basketball tournament. The public schools usually don’t fare too well in those.
I think “Kingsbrook” is derived from Cranbrook, the snooty private school near Detroit that Mitt Romney attended and which was immortalized by Eminem in the closing rap battle in “8 Mile.”
