It would seem that Furble’s Flea Powder has not kept the fleas out of the boardroom. For that matter, why would fleas sponsor a flea powder? Does it make dog or cat flesh extra tasty? Is it like hot sauce?

That should be protest signs, not sure what I was thinking there.

sigh, it’s pouring rain again today. I hope they’re right about the weather getting better on the weekend as I’m doing a bbq for Mother’s Day.

Dr Susan and her friend, Sue, who used to run a rescue org, took some kittens out of a high kill shelter in Downey the other day. We have a long list of people looking for kittens. When they went back to get more, they were told NO, unless they could prove that the others had been adopted. (the ones from last year) The shelter is giving away the babies and still had about 150. We know what will happen to most of them. We just don’t understand their rationale. Idiots.

I wish I knew somebody in that area who could snag more babies and send out out here with Susan. I’m getting the 4 that her friend took out. She sent me pics and they are adorable! She sent me pictures- a tuxedo, an orange one, a tabby and one she says is calico but looks more tabby to me. They’re all about 4 weeks old.

When they were leaving the shelter, they ran into a woman with a sick baby in a towel. Long story, but Dr Susan took it home then to the vet. It’s very sick but getting better each day.
