“What did you expect? Democrats warned us about dry cleaning bags in the 70s, and we still lose about a hundred party members a year in plastic bag incidents. Warnings just make us more determined.”
I can’t imagine how there could be anyone in the Country, even the most fervent Republican, who still thinks a Trump Presidency is a good thing for America,
Trump believed being the Executive of Government was the same as being CEO of a corporation. Once he was in office, he could prevent any investigation into the Russian ties of Flynn or anyone else on his team with a simple order from the top. Doesn’t work that way…

AN EXERCISE IN MIXED METAPHORS – {a rhyme}
√ The right wing rots into Trump’s
ACRID STENCH.
√ Their party’s a mechanic; Trump’s its
MONKEY WRENCH,
√ Their party’s Doctor Jekyll; Trump’s
MISTER HYDE, their
EVIL SIDE.
√ Their party’s the Ancient Mariner; Trump’s the
ALBATROSS, which although praised by the sailors is
SCUMMY DROSS and a
HARBINGER OF LOSS.

BYE BYE to COMEY – {a rhyme}
We heave our sigh
that the FBI guy
has been sent bye-bye, -
- and we speculate why:
He was nosey ‘bout Putin’s
links to Trump’s lootin’s.

A LESSON ‘BOUT RHYMING – {a limerick and a coda}
Don’t succumb to your inhibitions
in thinking your rhymings’ renditions
are klutzily inept
and poorly prepped,
displeasing to aestheticians.
… Coda:
Like jazz-saxophoning. Like so:
Relax!! Go ahead and just blow!!

Li’l Trumpy fired Comey to cover up his Russian connection. How will the Beast in the White House cover up his firing of Comey? By nuking North Korea?

Trump has fired the gun on 5th avenue. The FBI was tracing the path of the bullet to see if Trump had shot someone.
Even though It’s OKAY If A Republican Does It.

In Viet Nam, “leaders” like Trump led to a new addition to the military vocabulary: fragging.

So, will the checks and balances our Constitution provided actually come into play, or will the Congress fold once again?

Trump’s kakistocracy has staying power because the GOP is as baldly corrupt and incompetent as Trump, he represents their ideals.
