Look at the bright side, Ziggy: at least your computer isn’t calling you “Dave”.

when I worked in the bank, they suggested using a word translated to numbers. It’s easier to remember the word.

I feel your pain, Zig… “Password must be at least 8 characters. Must contain each of the following: Lower case letter, uppercase letter, number special character. Can not be any of your last ten passwords. Must choose a new one every six months.” Oh! And don’t write it down!

Computer error or human error?

computers are programmed to ‘forget’ passwords so that computer repair places can make a living. :)

I actually had that happen. Somehow, an ad blocker did something to a password wallet that caused the wallet’s data to become corrupted.
