Well, Bernie was always the brain among the commune-mates. I don’t think we’ve seen him since the last time he bailed out Mike and Kim’s dot-com venture.
At Harvard, all expenses put together come to around 1800 - 2200 (including books, tuition, room, food etc.). The GI bill covers about 1300 - 1500 for active duty personnel (for a full time course). While it is not great, I believe Toggle will be able to manage. I don’t think that he just wants to meet chicks, but if he does…Harvard would also provide plenty of opportunities :). Not to mention the place is lovely.
attyush – I know this is far afield, but I read a study once that said that Harvard kids average less than 1 sexual experience over the 4 years they attend the ‘ol Crimson. Less than any other school in the US.
Toggle doesnt need the GI Bill. Being a disabled Vet he is eligible for what is called Veterans Education Assistance Program. Depending on his disability rating they will pay for 100%, no matter what it costs. It’s how I got my Masters, at Univ. of Cincinnati.
Dypak, it wasn’t intended as a slam on house trailers or the folks who live in them… just a comment about dating and a lack of privacy. Sorry that wasn’t clearer.
margueritem, WOW, yes “Madtown” or as it says on the map Madison. Indeed a beautiful campus and a friendly city……. and what a small world we live in here.
Ronebofh, you are right BD got his commission in the Guard, which also got him his ticket to Iraq. It could be Toggle’s aphasiaa kicking in.

Don’t send Toggle to Walden, no!

Hasn’t Toggle been through enough without going to Walden?

How about Yale? He’s still a better speaker than that shoe target.

University of Wisconsin was a good fit for me.

Toggle, if you want an education, stay away from the colleges.

I’m trying to make out the tattoo on his mom’s arm. It almost looks like a deformed hand grenade.

I want some of what Toggle is smoking! They must have pulled mommy-dearest from the crow.

attyush, the guy’s living in a mobile home with his mom. He doesn’t want an education, he wants to meet women on the GI bill.
cacolley7811 about 16 years ago
Ilewann, Toggle is suffering from a brain injury that has affected his speech–he is not on drugs.
Cleokaya, it looks like a USMC emblem to me.
Roger, the other one, if he’s going on the GI Bill, he might want to try a community college as it’s not paying what it used to.

Why say “thanks Republicans” for the state of the GI Bill? there’s been a democratic majority in congress for how many years?
On the plus side…the GI bill was just expanded so military can transfer it to their dependents if they want.
It doesn’t matter for Toggle…he’ll get VA Chapter 31 and have a free ride.

Madison, right? What a beautiful campus! I went to Northern IL U, and went up to Madison one weekend with some friends. We were very impressed.
