The show had good ratings, but ABC (the network that aired it) didn’t own Last Man Standing and so wasn’t making much money from it. ABC licensed the show from 20th Century Fox, and it was Fox that retained the big earnings streams from the show (syndication, streaming services, international markets).
As pointed out above Fox was the one making money. If Fox doesn’t put it on their own network, there might be something to the “liberal conspiracy” claims.

News flash: “Home Improvement” already ended in 1999. (Gosh, I a miss that show.)

His show had excellent ratings, so you’d be wrong.

I guess the Invisible Hand of the Marketplace applies to the hoi polloi, but not the “conservatives” who rule us.

Fortunately, Tim Allen has a thriving career in such terrific movies as the Toy Story series and the incomparable Galaxy Quest.
