The trouble was, the flowers were from her own box window garden.

I have a friend who lives in downtown Portland, she finally moved from the first floor to the fifth. Got tired of homeless men peeking in her windows, throwing up outside her window, doing their “business” outside her window…….sigh, life in the big city!

Ethel couldn’t wait till cold weather so she could close the windows.
