    Interesting edge to the guillotine. Most have a straight edge, though angled. (They did try the 90° ‘chisel’ blade but it wasn’t as ‘clean’ as the angled straight blade.) Blades for chopping/slicing ‘hard’ cylindrical objects are generally convex (think katana sword blades), unlike convex blades for cutting/slicing grass/cereals as in scythes, sickles, etc. I wonder if anyone has experimented with a convex guillotine blade.
