That’s the last time Dad’s big time client will call him at home, or call him at all.

The guy on the other end must be thinking the exact same thing.

About 20 years back I got a call one morning and a nice female voice I didn’t know asked me if this was Tuesday Morning. I looked at the calendar and said, “No, this is a Wednesday.” I honestly had never heard of the store and was unaware there was one in our county.

Classic!

I’m never letting a kid below 10 answer my phone call for me.

Salesman: “May I speak to your mother?”

Boy: “She’s not here.”

Salesman: “Well, is anyone else there?”

Boy: “My sister.”

Salesman: “O.K., fine. May I speak to her?”

Boy: “I guess so.”

…

Boy: “Hello?”

Salesman: “It’s you. I thought you were going to call your sister.”

Boy: “I did. But I can’t get her out of the playpen.”

Heh Heh… One of my favourite Calvin and Hobbes strips…

Calvin is the last person who should call anyone a weirdo.

I’m a Receptionist and I would be called into the Boss’ Office if I said that!
