Hobbes does have all that time while you’re at school to do whatever he wants.

Sleeping in the warm bed, waiting to pounce, etc.

When they do happen it is better it didn’t. Just think of Laneana Huxley in “Demolition Man” was thinking the same thing in her 2032 San Angeles haven. Then the criminal murder from the 1990’s is released, Simon Phoenix, from the Cryo-prison and runs loose causing mayhem and more murders.

I like boring. I have friends who like exciting. My machine says; “You have a collect call from a correctional facility.”

Are you doing fun things, when I am not around?!!

In 2nd frame, hobbes should have grabbed overhead branch and gotten off.

… but where’s the fun in that?

I rather have a long life than an exciting life.

How does Calvin salvage all his wagons?

I have one of those jobs that give me enough excitement. I wish I could remember who it was I saw on TV who said, “Adventure is what you wish you were having when safe at home; safe at home is where you wish you were when you are having an adventure.”

Seems Calvin can’t see the forest through the tree’s?.

I’m one of those who never goes on holiday so I must live a boring life. Right?

WRONG! I’m quite happy making my own plans and not having anybody interfere.
