At the beginning of this story, didn’t we find out Ryan’s nickname in the travel league was Cano as in volcano because of his temper even then. Why would it be a shock that he still has anger issues? Maybe Gil should look into how these problems relate to the way his parents treat him.
Ryan(E) needed a fresh start, so we looked into schools where kids needed a fresh start. Rumor had it that your kids got a fresh start, so we picked Milford.
That is one funky lamp in panel two. Don’t think I’ve ever seen a lamp shade like that before. Maybe these folks are really aliens and that’s the nucleonic cosmic transmorgraphier or something like that.
