Exactly. Its not the average Government worker, it is the Politicians, and the appointed minions who work for those put in power every election cycle that run many government agencies that are doing the real damage.

Gary & Susie, you paint with too broad a brush. The problem is with politicians, not “government”. There are many gvt employees who are hard working, conscientious and honest individuals doing a great job in attempting to keep the USA balanced and afloat.

When I hear people complain about the taxes they pay, I have to laugh. Since the time of the Egyptians ( and probably before that ) people have gripped, and argued about paying taxes – and sometimes even revolted. The American Revolution was a tax rebellion against England !

Like the man said… there’s two things that have always been with us – Death and Taxes !

The only reason theft is illegal is because the government doesn’t want competition.

But some taxes are only temporary, like Canadian income tax. It was supposed to be used to fight WW1 — only we’re still fighting it 100 years later!

No, stealing is the job of the rich, and the lying corporations.

That’s why Social Security is imperiled.
