Next thing you know… Odie let’s go of his mouth and a huge chunk of drool will fly over to Garfield. Probably big enough to fill a pool. But I don’t get it, what’s the science behind dogs drooling crazy?

Garfield should get a mop and a “Caution: Wet Floor” sign.

This strip helps narrow down what breed of dog Odie could be. Sorta like a shitzu, but from the other end, too. (I know, I know, the real breed is spelled ‘shih-tzu,’ but … !)

If the drool starts to come out from his ears, then there’s a problem.

Not a cat person (allergies); do cats pant? How do they cope with the heat? I have three medium-large dogs… a drooling Labrador and rescued Labrador-mixes.
