Pretty much what I expected to happen (though the “dinner & dancing” details in my post late yesterday were tongue-in-cheek). Sparkle will show her appreciation of what is meaningful in some way to Blackjack. He will then send her home safely. But too late, because Tracy’s eyes have already popped open (see Anyface, Neil Wick, & Okinawan Ace [not a law firm] above). That is to say, Tracy now has a personal stake in the pursuit of Blackjack. This is unfortunate among Polar Opposites, but necessary. A Lawman’s gotta do what a Lawman’s gotta do!
“Nobody’s hurt” makes me wonder: Has Blackjack ever injured or killed anyone with that chopper of his? I’m guessing that if he had, it’d be harder to accept him as a Robin Hood type — not that folk-hero status makes him any less of a target for Tracy & co.
If I remember correctly, Blackjack is a superior marksman. Tracy said BJ is the best shot he’s ever seen (obviously not shooting a Chicago typewriter). He ought to put that to good use and make a good living on the shooting circuit. Then he could afford a Sparkle Tracy blow-up doll to prop up in the front seat with him.
Considering that Vera Aldid’s harassment and slander towards Sparkle wound up with Junior following him home with a gun, I suspect that attempted violence is imminent.

Amazing how NOW Tracy gives a rat’s tail about Blackjack’s crime spree simply because his daughter-in-law is involved.
Just wait til Mayor Blowhard or Wendy Wichel gets wind of Tracy turning a blind eye to Blackjack’s actions.
Any OTHER cop/detective/officer would have not let it go this far regardless of their “personal stake”
