I keep reading this comic for new ideas. See, it never occurred to me to wear my slippers on my ears. My daughter crocheted me a pair of slippers in a pretty blue that might look real nice.

Well, if Sterling’s slippers are like my slippers,
he might be hearing the soft bleating of distant sheep….
further muffled by the thick layer of woolly sheepskin lining the inside.
Mind you, I don’t know whether you can hear sheep inside my slippers….
it’s only a guess, based on my having heard the ocean inside a seashell,
and seeing a similarity.
But I have never, ever, myself, worn my slippers on my ears.
Not that I would tell Rose about, anyway.
BTW, I want to welcome Joefearsnothing and NRHawk to the neighborhood….
