My dog chews on his bed. Usually its more like, he lays there with a piece of his bed in his mouth. We tried a bed made of ripstop a while back, and that one he will use, when he wants to sleep in our bedroom, but he really prefers a softer bed, like corduroy. He drags it wherever he wants to sleep. When the TV goes off and the lights go out he knows it’s time for bed, so he either drags it to the landing on the stairway upstairs, or into the upstairs hallway. He needs a replacement every 4 to 6 months, and since he’s a Rat Terrier, and doesn’t need a very big bed, it’s not a big deal.

Our dog chased the Kong once. After that, he sits and watches until it stops bouncing and THEN he goes after it. Both lazy and smart.
