Why not get a pepper mill that has a salt shaker built into the mill’s head?

Earl, take that Sharpie from a couple of strips ago and clearly mark them.

Keep the salt off the table. You probably don’t need it.

Use peppercorns in a grinder! Problem solved ! No charge!

yes it does matter; ive never heard of a “low pepper” diet

If you have pepper sitting around in a shaker, it’s going to taste like nothing after a while no matter how good your taste buds are. Peppercorns will last far longer. Grind them freshly and see if that makes a difference. No need to grind salt—it doesn’t lose its flavor.

The salt grinder has white lumps and the pepper grinder had black lumps. Our salt shaker (when we had one) had one hole and the one for pepper had five.

And everything lese from the neck on down.

My Auntie got the Salt & Pepper shakers mixed up. She’s a bit scatty like that.

Get clear shakers. In our house I have to refill the pepper shaker more often than the salt because my husband is a pepper freak.
