No, the original Fred Jones of the sixties was a brave and intelligent leader. Today’s Freddy has been dumbed down to the point where he’s ditzier than Danger-Prone-Daphne, and I can’t stand him. I was a Freddy fangirl before I knew what a fangirl was, and whoever’s the guy in the new (and in my opinion, useless) newer Scooby-Doo shows, it ain’t the real Freddy.
