A follow-up on a story from Queen of America…

Back in early March this year (March 08 to be exact), Queen of America logged a great story had come about with the rescue of a puppy trapped amongst some wooden railroad ties. The rescuer (Samson 179) and his wife adopted the puppy, and gave him the name “Roadie”. He is a mixed breed — maybe Great Dane and Weimaranar.

When Roadie was rescued, he was about 3-and-a-half months old and weighed 19 lbs. He is now 7 months old and weighs 55 lbs.

His Brindle coat (“tiger-stripes”) has now really popped out.

Like my wife and I like to say about the two rescued cats we have, it looks like Roadie has “Won the Lottery”!

You always get a bunch of noise from the Bleacher Seats.

Mid 60s today instead of the mid 80s we got yesterday.

The people around here are giving a big sigh of relief.

A big thank you goes out to Baconboycamper for posting the pics. We’re going up to Calgary in late Sept and he’s going to teach me how to post them so I don’t have to keep pestering him to do it.

If anyone has been reading or watching the news about the big fire in southern Utah, it’s north of us. Cedar City is about 35 north and you have to go west thru Cedar to get to Brian Head, which is a ski resort. This morning, the smell of smoke is so bad we can’t open the house. Up until about 10 min ago there was a haze hanging over, too. The fire is moving north east but the winds are blowing south, towards us. The winds are supposed to shift tomorrow but you never know what Mother Nature will do.

Love these kitties! They make a great team……comedy, not ball team.

After complaining yesterday about my source of kitty videos disappearing, I tinkered and now I am getting a lot of videos from another source. So, pardon me for today’s video flood.

Good afternoon, Graham Crackers. Paul and I are home after a wonderful weekend with his parents. Yum Yum was overjoyed to see us come home and has not yet stopped purring.

Too bad vaudeville is, alas, no more. The TC kitties with road manager, Annie, have one heck of a lead act with Chesney and Jack. Lily can take on all comers while Woof can have a ZZZZZing contest, etc, etc.
