Adam West was always MY Batman – the one I grew up watching (in reruns), the one who didn’t kill the bad guys, the fun one who danced the Batusi, and the one who shared my birthday. The extra candle this year will be for you Adam.
All other Batmen pale in comparison. It doesn’t matter how big the star, or how lavish the production, Batman was an uncomplicated hero, not the psychological mess that he is portrayed now. Leave the introspection to Spiderman!
