ACORN, or any other voter registration group, are required by law to turn over all registration forms they receive, even thost they know to be fraudulent. It’s up to people like me, who actually work at the polls, to challenge the people who want to commit a crime by turning that registration into a fraudulent vote.
It’s the jerks who accuse ACORN who actually try to suppress the vote through force or deceit (e.g., mailing fraudulent absentee ballots, telling people to vote on Wednesday due to long lines, telling people they’ll be arrested if they have an outstanding tax or traffic violation and go to the polls, etc).
