That is a dog’s true idea of how to play ball. They have the ball, and you have to try to take it away from them.

Scooter’s no fool. He knows Alan opens the dog food with his right hand.

If you look at past reports, you will notice that Scooter is what’s known as a “biter”

And if the powers that be would only let us publish photos again I would show you first hand.

Alas they are a shortsighted bunch, so either spend 17 minutes looking for the aforementioned pics or take my word for it.

Of course this would be Scooter.

Is it just me, or does Scooter’s appearance change often?

People assume the worst. Actually, Scooter is guiding Wilbur to the ball. Wilbur’s eyes look the way they do because he is not wearing his spectacles and he is straining to see.Ow!!! That son of pup just bit me!!!!! C’mere you #&%?<{ $* !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don’t think that’s a ball he’s taking possession of.

No, Scooter took possession of the arm.

Scooter is my favorite of all the Ballard Streat dogs.

I think that it started with the Bird Feeder incident.

Not only am i using the van today, I’m also using my new (used) wheelchair.

Scooter always reminds me of the large, 90 lb., deaf American Pit Bull Terrier, who was my buddy for many years, in Florida. Zeke, ( Not to be confused with Zeke the Zebra, my lawn mower here in Ballard ), was all white except for a brown circle around one eye – like Petey, in the Our Gang comedies.

He would grab your arm or wrist when he wanted you to pet him or play with him. He was very gentle and never bit down, but it could be a bit of a scare, for someone who wasn’t used to him.
