It’s fun to see the “Boom Boxes Inc” sign on the Brooklyn store (as well as an actual boom box being carried in the street), since John Allison’s “Giant Days” comic book is published by BOOM! Box Comics.
What, they didn’t know? Why not? I mean, given that they clearly established Lem has having to eat onions, why wouldn’t he extend that to those he hypnotized? And why do they care if he did or not? To them, all of these kids (and I strongly suspect Lem too) is just a means to an end, tools to use briefly then set aside and forget.
