The frequency mentioned in #4 is not enough to tell us the distance. A large planet would have the same frequency (year) as a smaller planet that’s closer to the star.
Leaving is impossible and nothing is less hard than fixing our own planet. Or else the coming generations will have to get use to terrible conditions all over the planet. Better work on setting up a place to live on Antarctica which is starting to get green in spots.
In a few years they are going to send up a telescope much bigger than the Hubble or Webb. They are hoping to be able to use it to analyze atmosphere of distant planets. It is amazing the science behind all this.

You can also determine the number of planets, their size, and distance from the star from the star’s wobbling.
