Most remodeling shows equate “new” as being “better”. Keep what you have in nice condition and be proud of what you have. New is not necessarily better, it’s just different.
I still have mom’s electric stove, 50 years old at least. And my copper colored Kenmore gas stove is 40 years old. Still working, much better than today’s cheap stuff.
