A fighter’s nickname is worth nothing in the ring.

I’m with Bucky, and the same could be said about me.

Rob talking like an old person. I doubt he was ever a “scrapper”.

Maybe “scrapper” is a euphemism for somebody who assembles scrapbooks as a hobby? Or, somebody who sorts through garbage for useful stuff.

I rescued and eight-year-old dachsund named Scrappy. It only took a couple of weeks to figure out what his name is all about. He regularly gets in fights with big dogs; and usually gets his butt beat; but that doesn’t stop him.
