Saw a video on TV (one of those “epic fail” shows) where the operator forgot to clamp the bungees to the customer’s ankles. She jumped. Fortunately it was from a platform over a lake. Basically a really bad belly flop, but she lived.

I remember a Dilbert where a bungee operator tells Dilbert that he needs not to underestimate his weight, or the cord won’t hold him. Dilbert tells him 700 lbs.
