It’s called the Daily Bugle - not the Daily Whistle Blower.

Hey, GROG! The Daily Bugle was the newspaper where Spiderman worked as Peter Parker for J.Jonah Jameson. The Daily Planet was where Superman worked as Clark Kent for editor and publisher Perry White

The investigative reporters know, but if they reveal their source it will dry up, so they go along with the gag.

    Oblio1954, it’s “is,” not “was.”

dradk is correct – the Daily Planet’s lead investigative reporters are Clark Kent and Lois Lane (usually sharing a byline as “Lane and Kent” because, traditionally, the straight man gets first billing). And yes, both of them already know.
