After a day outside, I returned home with a medium sunburn, and tried an experiment with ointments. I used aloe direct from some plants in a neighbor’s garden (got permission first), some vaseline intensive care lotion, and some other skin lotion; on roughly thirds of the affected area. The aloe gel did the least for relief and healing, but better than nothing, the lotion did better, but the best was the Vaseline Intensive Care Lotion. Sadly, that exact same product is not made anymore.
