If Grog is thinking of the character from the Addams family, it’s Itt.

For some dogs, the neuter pronoun cuts too close to the bone.

“neuter”, “it”, “fixed” - enough of these euphemisms, can’t we just call a spayed a spayed?

The only “it” I know is the ex- and as long as you add in the silent “sh” beginning blend, then everything will be okay.

Whenever I meet a new dog and I can’t get a good look at the undercarriage, I ask the owner “What’s the name?” (as opposed to “his name”, “her name” or “its name”). That isn’t ALWAYS enough information to go on, but it often helps…

I have two cats that are “Its” and they don’t have a clue as to what they are or were. But they have names and are part of the family.

IT is written in stone at BB. But Louis is a HE.

@Digital, I’m pretty sure that male dogs aren’t spayed, they are neutered. Females are spayed.

But I loved your pun anyways! :-D

We used to say that a dog/cat was “fixed”. Don’t know what was broken:-))))
