I know it’s a comic, but this has bothered me for a long time: they’re on a boat, why don’t they just move closer to the equator?

Yeah, I’m with you jamesttgrays. I know the cartoonist is trying get to give the feel of the seasons. But this radom weather climate their in get old after awhile.

I know exactly how Nate feels. I wish I could do the same.

Or they could sail to the other side of the world where it’s summer (Australia, South America, South Africa, India, and Indonesia).

When my son was in the navy, the captain would take a “shake down” trip to the Caribbean in February. A nice change of pace.
