‘Course, how would you know if the person you hired to take your tests for you would actually do better than if you just took them yourself? Or is that not an issue? But wait. If you had done that, then that’s what you would have seen when you traveled into te future in the first place, right? Ow, my head is starting to hurt…
Standing proof that time machines can’t exist: if they could, the future you could go back and give you the plans to the machine, along with the winning lottery numbers in order to finance it.
Time travel. Since my first day on the job as a Starfleet captain I swore I’d never let myself get caught in one of these godforsaken paradoxes – the future is the past, the past is the future, it all gives me a headache.
What would you take into the past that you could afford that you could exchange for GOLD!? Black Pepper! I’ve thought about this a lot and that is the answer that works the best. Pepper was a highly prized spice. The price now is reasonable, it is portable and doesn’t need refilling or recharging to work.
I’ve always said, that if I was given the opportunity to travel through time, I’d go back to 1980, and tell myself to buy Apple at 50 cents a share and Disney at 90 cents share. Then sit on it for the next 35 years. With the increase in prices, and the multiple stock splits, an investment of a few hundred would now be worth millions.

Wise choice, kid. But what “better mousetrap” will a six year old find worthy of retrieving?
