Good attitude for Tregg to have. I was friends with a woman who was in her 90s. She wound up in a nursing home where I visited her every day (she had no close family) and as she got older and more feeble, I would help her more and more with her daily routines. She would apologize but I told her I was practicing to take care of my mother. I was surprised at myself – it was not nearly the chore I thought it would be. I really liked her and was glad to do what I could. Of course the nursing home staff was there for the really big jobs, but I could help with the feeding and personal clean up while visiting.
