Err, I think I’m not going to participate in this comment section. Things are looking pretty messed up.

I know a comment like this was posted above, but I am still going to point this out. And before someone acts clever and says this is off topic, I think this strip is funny.

I have been reading this strip and the comments for a while, so now I am going to do something.

First off, the comments section was getting better. But then some people keep bringing it up again saying things like “OMG YOU ACTUALLY POST SPAM.” And people are being hypocritical and accusing others of spamming, when they spam themselves!

Honestly everyone needs to just SHUT UP. Some people need to grow up and learn to ignore. Spam will always be a thing and you can’t do anything about it. If you see someone spamming just ignore them and don’t call them out by posting spam in a reply. That’ll just make the spam featured. And spammers need to GROW UP. I don’t mind polls or questions to other readers, it gets everyone to know each other and be friends. But you should at least post something related FIRST. (Also forget the part about friends, everyone is just mad at each other)

People that complain about spamming, this is nothing. Go look at some YouTube videos THEN say this is spam. This is why I haven’t commented for months. Everyone just needs to chill. If you see spam BE MATURE AND IGNORE IT. If you can’t do that DON’T LOOK AT THE COMMENTS.

Anyways, I hope no one acts like a *********** and actually considers this comment to be helpful.

Does anyone agree with me that the earlier BIG NATE strips had better drawn Nates?

When I was in Marching band, we had wool uniforms. So any parades that occurred when the weather was warm, our band booster parents were nice enough to put baggies filled with ice under our hats and spray the back of our necks and give us water) while we marched. Maybe Nat and Teddy should try the baggie of ice under the hat.

Reminds me of a live theatre melodrama I once saw. I think it was called “Dirty Work at the Crossroads”. The villain was named Dogs Breath Deveraux.

And to think I was actually unhappy when the GC format change no longer displayed all comments. Based on what’s going on here lately it was a stroke of genius. Just about takes a machete to hack through all the irrelevant nonsense. Show Mr. Peirce a little respect already and control yourselves. Sheesh.

I wonder what Artur and the Pashkovs are doing right now? I know it’s stated that they’re on a “family vacation”, but what if it’s just a convenient cover story?

Consider this: we don’t know all that much about Artur. We don’t know about his past, or what his family is like. Did he and his family emigrate from Belarus in order to flee from Alexander Lukashenko’s regime, or are they actually government spies sent to America for some insidious purpose?

And if it’s the former, what if the Pashkovs are part of some underground militia fighting to overthrow Lukashenko and liberate Belarus?

Sure, I doubt anything like this will ever happen in the actual strip, but it makes you think, doesn’t it?

Question: what is your problem with the spam?

If you don’t like the spam and bad comments don’t look at the comments. It’s like magic! The spam and bad comments shouldn’t effect the comic or you in anyway. if they do then it doesn’t make sense. It’s gocomics not gocomments. Just don’t look at the comments and you won’t get mad and make a 1000 word comment about how you don’t like it. Problem solved

Somebody must’ve set fire to the dumpster filled with rotting fish and let the burning rotting smell spread out.. (the very definition of Spitsy’s rotting fish breath)
