The good news: At least it’s not Hillary. The bad news: Beating up Pelosi isn’t any better. Bottom line: This is the kind of campaign that lost Hillary the election. In her case, vote Democratic; I’m not Donald. In his case, vote Republican; I’m not Nancy.
On second thought, if this is the best Republicans can come up with, maybe next year might be a pleasant surprise for Democrats in an “off year” election. For a change!
First you need to get the several states to engage in shaping proper voting districts. Having done that, I think all the other problems will fade away.
I have an idea. It’s very au courant, very business forward and couldn’t possibly be any worse than what we’ve got goin’ on right now: Why don’t we vote on a country that’s not in the news for bad stuff, where the citizen seem content and they run things reasonably well — Iceland, Switzerland and Sweden come to mind — and outsource federal governance to them? Before you give me all the reasons they wouldn’t work, ask yourself: could it REALLY be worse than DC right now?

Why is this woman such a bogie man? What has she actually done that’s so terrible? Be a Democrat?

God forbid republicans allow a woman to be in charge. It’s just so amazing that in 2017 republicans are still making strong women into witches.

85% of dems say they are ready to vote against Republicans and Trump.
If all the dems vote republicans will be wiped off the political map.

So both parties will claim the other guy is worse, not that they’re better?

OK, Prickly City has jumped the shark into full “Mallard Fillmore” territory.

Do the Republicans have any thing better? I’m looking at you Mitch “Turtle Face” McConnell!

Carmen, June 28 2017: Cool, calm deliberation is dead. Will we ever again be able to talk to one another in a civil manner?

There are bipartisan groups in Washington D.C. They just don’t get much press.
