Joe draws her as Chet did with the features of her face confined to the very front of her head. I can’t explain it very well, but it was Chester Gould’s style.
We last saw her, at the Thorndike mansion, on January 7, 2016, after Specs and Spicy had located her hidden safe so it could be robbed. In her original appearance, her niece Debby was dating B.-B. Eyes’ brother which ended up causing all kinds of trouble for Tracy.
I would not have recalled Bea Thorndike from previous appearances had not our intrepid staff of expert commentators filled in all the requisite background. But it is more than obvious that she is the wealthy intended mark for P.D.’s scam.
