    I think Lucretia was hoping for some humanity-related understanding of the consequences, but realizes that the only consequences stated were financially related to her dad. That was HIS teaching of consequences – he is not good at recognizing humanity-related consequences either.

    Cynthia is definitely her father’s child. Right or wrong is not the issue for them. It is the consequences that concern them.
