I was talking with my friend this morning, her sister has gone back to the ranch as the fire’s changed direction so she can keep on top of the work that needs to be done – her husband is fighting the fires as he’s got the training for it. The boys are coming down to stay with relatives as there’s still a very real risk of the fire returning. They’ve sent the horses to Prince George and the cat and dog are coming with the boys so they’re all safe too. We’ve had some cooler weather and some rain which has helped with the wild fires but it’s going to be a long summer for the fire crews
