Hillbillyman: Becky is the mule. But you are correct Kitty used to be white, not orange tabby. Perhaps he’s been reading too much Garfield?

Maybe the story arc features Becky’s and the cats’ adventures while Rufus and Joel are in the mall? Highjinks ensue!

Hey! I am glad to see Joel (and Rufus) back! I have always found them my favorite characters. As a relative newcomer to this comic, however, does anyone know the backstory / history of these two? Are they just two somewhat shabby fellows or is there more to the story?

I’d be willing to share a drink or two from Joel’s jug if he’d sit down and talk with me about his history.

I didn’t think GA was big enough to have a Wal….err I mean a Mall Wart in their community.

Looks like Rufus and Joel went right through the fourth wall into reality.
