I thought about putting a cow catcher on the front of my SUV to minimize the damage to my vehicle for just such occasions. Also works well for people who like to drive under the speed limit in the left lane.
Most recent one I saw- this guy, pushing a stroller in front of him while texting, almost walked the kid into the path of an SUV in a parking lot. Then yelled obscenities at the driver. Oh, do I wish he had made contact (except for the danger to the child!) and I would have had the chance to testify! Criminal negligence and endangerment of a child.
