My wife talked me into trying escargot once. Not bad, but not actually good.

Calvin!! DON’T!!!! Salt will kill them!!!

I like escargots, it’s the shells I didn’t enjoy eating.

I would think the slugs would be more chewy after the salt was applied and they shriveled, wouldn’t they?

I’m one of those people who needs to have salt.

There are many things in this world that I will never even TRY to eat….snails, oysters, and caviar are certainly high on the list.
