John may want to rethink “lucky [Michael]” there.

    “But it’s a boyfriend-girlfriend kind of conversation!" “They’re fighting!”

This explains so much about Elly and John.

“Don’t you think he’s too young?”

Too young? Hold on now! Michael is the same kid who chased after and got into spats with Deanna Sobinski all the way from kindergarten to Grade 4. Kindergarten to Grade 4 was not too young for Michael have a fight with a girl, but Grade 7 is?

They’re already learning the most important part right?

@Knightman & Irish53 (from yesterday): No, she didn’t listen in. Then again, I didn’t behave in such a way where I would give her reason to want to. I’m passing on that level of respect on to my daughters; as a result, we have wonderful, open, and honest conversations all the time.

Dang! Married seven years and no fights, guess it isn’t serious.

OMG! Lynn, I think John almost did what I almost did when I read the last frame (spit coffee all over the place)!

I never understood the idea of their verbally arguing is a sign they are serious. Maybe that is because I never had a serious relationship?
